Filling in an Online Form on Your iPhone
At some point you’re going to go to a website in Safari on your iPhone that requests some type of information. You could be placing an online order at your favorite etailer or simply keying in your username and password on your favorite community site. When you get to a form on a webpage, you can tap on the first field on that page, which will zoom in on the field and bring up the keyboard. You can type out your response for the first field, and then if the second field is still in view, you can just tap it and keep typing. If the next field is not in view, you can tap Done on the keyboard, which will zoom the page back out again and then you can tap the field you want to go to next and the keyboard will reappear. If you tap on a pop-up menu on a page, Safari does something very cool: it magnifies the list of choices and puts them in a flick wheel that you can spin with your finger to get to the right option. Once you’ve got your form all filled out, you can dismiss the keyboard by tapping Done and then tap the submit button for your form to submit your data.
