Organize Bookmarks for iPhone
Both Safari and Internet Explorer allow you to organize bookmarks using folders and a bookmarks bar (particularly helpful for commonly visited sites). Syncing bookmarks with a computer syncs all the folders as well as the bookmarks bar, which is a folder.
The menu structure for bookmarks on the iPhone has a very iPod-like feel. If you have multiple folders—especially folders in the bookmarks bar—and levels of folders, navigating them isn't as simple as it is on your computer. Streamlining the order of bookmarks in the bookmarks menu on your computer or syncing bookmarks only once and then reorganizing them on your iPhone can make browsing easier and faster.
