Use .Mac Web Galleries
Ever since cell phones with cameras debuted, we've struggled with how to best share, sync, and publish photos from our phones. The iPhone's camera roll syncs well with iPhoto on the Mac and with Adobe Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements on a PC. But what if you want an easier sharing method? Apple's .Mac web service includes a new feature called Web Galleries that has a beautiful web 2.0 interface. More importantly, .Mac Web Galleries allows you to subscribe via RSS to your galleries (in iPhoto this maintains a local copy of the online gallery).
The iPhone can recognize galleries and upload directly to them. To use this feature, you'll need to set up your .Mac email account on your iPhone and enable photo upload by email for the Web Gallery. You can then click the email icon when a picture is selected and you'll have the option to upload to your gallery. What's particularly nice is that this will automatically sync your photo to your iPhoto library as well, which is especially useful if you don't sync your iPhone very often.
