Before we go any further, I want to show you how stacks can help you in finding the best shot from the photos of this particular pose. Go to your stack and click the little number to expand the stack. When you expand a stack, all the photos in that expanded stack are selected automatically, which is great because now you can press the letter N on your keyboard to enter Survey view (shown in Figure 5). After you enter Survey view, press Shift-Tab to hide all the panels and make your thumbnails larger. Now that you’re seeing just that pose, you can remove photos from contention by clicking the little X in the lower-right corner of each thumbnail until you come up with your single best photo. Then rate that one as a Pick or give it a five-star rating right there in Survey view.
When you’re done choosing your best photo from that pose, press G to return to the Grid view, choose another stack from a different pose, and do the same thing. This is a very efficient way to find the best photos quickly from the entire wedding shoot.
