The second straightening method starts the same way—you click on the Crop Overlay button. But then you use the Straighten slider, dragging to the left to rotate the photo counterclockwise or to the right to rotate clockwise. As soon as you start moving the slider, a small grid with horizontal and vertical lines appears within the cropping border to help you align your photo (see Figure 5). This is pretty much a hit-or-miss proposition, and I only use this method if I can’t get the Straighten tool to work.
