View the iTunes Libraries
When your Libraries contain a large collection of items by many different artists, you can choose to browse a Library’s contents using several different view modes.
- To change the View, use the View buttons in the iTunes toolbar. You can select the List view (left button), the Album view (center button), or the Cover Flow view (right button). You can also change view modes from View menu.
List View
The List view displays all of your songs and videos in a long list that can be organized by the selected column. This is the default View setting in iTunes.
Album View
The Album view groups your songs and videos according to album. iTunes will display cover art next to all of your albums, if cover art is available. Like the List view, the Album can be organized by the selected column.
Cover Flow View
Tired of scrolling through lists of songs? Use the Cover Flow view and turn iTunes into a virtual jukebox. Flip through your album artwork and play your selection by pressing the Return key. You can even display Cover Flow full screen and use your Apple Remote to control it.
