Text Search
Another great new feature isn’t necessarily as exciting, but it’s definitely welcome, especially if your library is large. Adobe has beefed up the search feature in the Organizer by adding operators such as AND, OR, and NOT, as well as other conditions. So, for example, you could locate photos that include the tags “vacation” and “Montana,” but do not include the tag “winter,” by typing the following in the Search field:
vacation AND Montana NOT winter
You can also add or exclude specific attributes. For example, “model:d80” finds all photos shot using my Nikon D80; “date:2006” quickly locates all pictures shot during 2006 without having to use the Elements timeline.
