Keying in a URL Manually
Once Safari is up and running, there will be an Address Bar at the top of the screen. You can tap in the Address Bar to bring up the keyboard. From there you can key in the URL of the website that you want to go to. There is even a .com button on the keyboard to help you complete your URL. Once you have the address keyed in, you can tap the Go button to go to it. If you want to type in another URL and there is one already there, you can clear it by tapping the X in a gray circle to the right of the address once you tap on the Address Bar.
