Adding a Web Clip
If there are websites that you go to very often, you can now add them directly to your Home screen, and you can even have it scroll to the area of the page that you always check out. Just tap the Safari button on the Home screen, then go to the website you want to add (feel free to zoom in on it if you like), and tap the + (plus sign) button at the bottom of the Safari screen. From the options that appear, tap on Add to Home Screen, and you’ll then see the screen shown above, which allows you to name your Home screen button. So, just name your new button (or leave the one already there for you) and tap the Add button at the top right. A new button for this website will now appear on your Home screen. If the website is iPhone-aware, then you’ll have a nice little icon representing the logo of the site. If not, it will show you a miniaturized representation of the page.
