Saving Files
Use the Save As dialog box to specify whether a InDesign should save your file as a document or template. This choice has the same effect as choosing Document or Template in the Save As dialog box in QuarkXPress. The default, InDesign CS Document, saves a normal InDesign file; choose the InDesign CS Template option to be able to create new, untitled InDesign documents that use the current file’s settings and contents.
