Oh, Snap. Please!
If you can get quality time with your kids, make it last with photos (see Figure 2). I know that somewhere in a storage box far away is a photo of me as Lady Olivia in Twelfth Night from my days in elementary school. It's pretty overexposed and probably taken with a Kodak disc camera by my mom. Remember those? If only she had had a compact digital camera, with the ISO set to 400 and the white balance to tungsten, and exposed for the light on my white dress. Then, if she had filed the photograph in year and month folders (and backed them up), maybe she'd have a well-preserved photograph at her fingertips today. Not that I'd want it, mind you; I think I had braces then.
