#2: Adjust White Balance (G11 Only)
The G10 and G11 include several preset white balance settings, which adjust a scene's color temperature. For example, the Tungsten setting compensates for the hue produced by tungsten light bulbs. (Press the Function/Set button and choose the white balance control, the top icon on the left.) For more control within any of the presets (including Auto White Balance), press the Display button to reveal a box that enables you to fine-tune the color (see Figure 1). Use the navigation buttons to push the target white balance toward green, blue, amber, and magenta hues. When the preview looks right, press Display again to lock in the adjustment.
