Getting Videos onto Your iPod
Once you’ve downloaded some movies, TV shows, music videos, or podcasts, all you have to do to get them onto your iPod is connect it to your computer. iTunes will launch (if it’s not already open) and automatically copy any videos you’ve downloaded onto your iPod (unless you’ve turned on the manual update feature—see the iTip below). It’s as easy as that. By the way, movies are pretty large in file size, so depending on the size of your iPod, you might want to choose only certain movies or shows to be copied over, rather than all of them. To do this, click on your iPod in the Devices list on the left side of iTunes, then click on the Movies tab in the iPod Preferences. Turn on the checkbox for Sync Movies, then below that, choose whether you want recent movies or unwatched movies from the pop-up menu, and turn on the checkboxes for any other movies you want copied to your iPod in the Movies section and in the Include Movies from Playlists section. Then, click the Apply button in the bottom-right corner of iTunes. Now do the same thing on both the TV Shows tab and Podcasts tab.
