Final Notes
Do the improvements in identifying, generating, and editing CSS layout code make Dreamweaver CS5 the ultimate tool for generating page designs? Not quite. My biggest complaint is that a number of widely supported CSS attributes (such as conditional page width) are not accessible from the CSS Styles panel or the CSS Rule Definition dialog. Some complex page layouts also don't seem to appear correctly in Live view. But overall, Dreamweaver CS5 is the most powerful tool for CSS page layouts on the block, whether you're entering code in Split view and watching it refresh the Design view, or you're using the CSS Styles panel and the CSS Rule Definition dialog to generate CSS.
