Markers
The Markers incorporate Hard Media capabilities (see Figure 5). The Markers paint with transparency similar to Digital Watercolor, in that you can paint a continuous shade or a buildup of color. Because of their transparency, the Markers are an excellent choice for quickly painting solid areas of color and for building up colored washes similar to watercolor. For “Chasing the Blue Bird” (shown in Figure 6), we sketched with the Real 2B Pencil variant of Pencils and then colored the drawing with Markers, including the Chisel Tip Marker and Sharp Marker. The “Chasing the Blue Bird” illustration is demonstrated step-by-step in “Drawing with Real Pencils and Markers” in The Painter 11 Wow! Book on pages 80–81.
