Finding gaps in the timeline
Adobe Premiere Pro tools make it easy to keep unwanted gaps out of your Timeline by snapping clips to one another and other objects such as the current-time indicator. But sometimes an unwanted gap in the Timeline will appear. If the gaps are large, they are easy to find. But if the gaps are very small, you might miss them. Adobe Premiere Pro has a tool to help you find gaps in your Timeline.
- Continue were you left off in the Lesson 08-03.prproj project. There should still be gaps on the Timeline.
- Position the current-time indicator at the beginning of the Timeline.
- From the menu, choose Sequence > Go to Gap > Next in Sequence.
- Notice that your current-time indicator is snapped to the first gap in the sequence where you can decide what to do with the gap.
