#4: The New Action Wizard
Once you realize that Acrobat is for much more than just looking at a PDF (we were all there), you start to think about the countless things you can do to enhance a PDF. For example, in a typical PDF file I will set the viewing options, add some document info, and apply some security. Acrobat X allows you to automate routine, multistep tasks like this into a guided Action that you can apply to a single PDF or batches of files (see Figure 7). There are a host of default actions, and the ability to edit those existing actions or create new actions based on your PDF needs.
