#8: Streamlined Comments
Ever added comments to a PDF or tried to wade through a document with lots of comments? Well, Acrobat X makes the whole commenting process easier. Commenting tools are more accessible and easier to find, there is a “read” or “unread” indicator showing which comments you’ve read, it’s easier to find comments using the new Filter Comments feature, and more (see Figure 12).

All of the commenting tools are now found in the Comment panel on the right side of the workspace. This organizes commenting options by tools (typical and drawing), review options, and comments list. All of the review optionsfrom sending via email, to jumping on a live review using Acrobat.com and a live chat sessionare now in one place for ease of use (see Figure 13).

I also really like the location of the commenting pane, which lists all of the available comments in the active document. In the past, it was along the bottom of the Document window and I always dragged it to the right or left side instead. Now, it resides on the right side of the workspace in the Comment panel.
