DRAWING MULTIPLE CONSECUTIVE LAYERS
Often when I am working with layers, I need to draw several at once. I used to click the Draw Layer button in the Common category of the Insert bar (way back when it was called the Objects panel), draw my layer, and then repeat. Click button, draw layer. Click button, draw layer. That got old real quick. I soon discovered that there is indeed a better way to do this. All you need to do is hold the Ctrl (Command) key while clicking and dragging out your layer, and when you are finished, you'll still have the crosshairs that indicate you can draw another one.
