TAKING PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
If you decide to use the Layer Property inspector to change the values of Width, Height, Left, or Top, be sure to include a pixel or percentage measurement with the integer. Dreamweaver doesn't require that you enter a unit of measurement, but modern browsers that support DTD will not respond well if the measurement is missing. So if you're experiencing placement issues in a browser, one of the first things to check is that the measurement for the property was included.
