Get to know the Adobe-supplied preflight profiles; they’re well thought out and are a valuable set of tools if you produce PDF files for a living.
But what if none of the Adobe profiles do quite what you want? In my case, the “Online Publishing” profile does more than I really want done to my files and ignores a couple other things I wish it did do. What then?
Well, you can create your own preflight profile that does exactly what you need.
