Applying Styles
When you have defined your styles and closed out the dialog boxes, you are ready to apply those styles, either in the Word document that you are creating or to test them in the template that you are putting together. To apply a style to text, highlight the text and double-click the style of your choice in the Styles and Formatting list.
That's it. A few basic principles, and now all your Word documents will have style.
