Connect with Friends
The point of Game Center is to see and share game scores and achievements with your friends. Adding friends is easy. Open the Friends screen by clicking on the “Friends” button at the top of Game Center (see below).

Add a friend:
- Click the “Friends” button to open the Friends screen.
- Click the yellow “Add Friends” banner on the left. A window opens (see next page).
- Type in your friend’s email address or Game Center nickname. Customize the message if you wish.
- Click Send. Your friend will be notified and will have to accept the request.

Of course, other players may send you Friend requests. You’ll get emails letting you know. It’s also easy to find them in Game Center at any given moment so you can accept or ignore them.

Accept or ignore Friend requests:
- Click the “Requests” button to open the Requests screen.
- Any pending requests will show up on the left (see opposite page). Click on one and the details show up on the right.
- Choose to “Accept” or “Ignore.”

When you accept, your new friend appears in the list of your friends on the left side of the Friend page. Should you wish to remove a friend, click the friend’s name in the friend list to open her information page and click the “Unfriend” banner link on the bottom of her page on the right.

Find recommended friends: You’re not limited to friends you invite or who invite you. You can view a list of recommended friends and consider sending them invitations if they play some of the same games you do.
- Click the “Friends” button to open the Friends screen.
- Click the “Friend Recommendations” block on the upper left. A window opens (see below).
- Click through the list of potential friends on the left. Each listing shows how many friends you have in common and how many of the same games you play.
- To send an invitation, click the “Send Friend Request” banner. Your potential friend will be notified and will have to accept the request.
