Selection Shortcuts
Who can’t use some easier ways to make selections? Here are a few:
- Select > Same: Suppose you want to select a series of clouds you drew easily. Select one of them, then choose Select > Same > Fill & Stroke (or whatever formatting options they have in common).
- Select > Object: This is one of my favorites. Suppose you have existing artwork that needs to align to the pixel grid. Instead of selecting everything one at a time, then aligning to the pixel grid in the Transform panel, you can choose Select > Object > Not Aligned To Pixel Grid.
- Select > Reselect: Ever select some content, accidentally deselect, and wish you could get the selection back? If you immediately choose Select > Reselect, you can.
