Working with Pages
Once you have many pages in your document, you need easy ways to navigate from one page to another.
To move to a specific page:
Double-click the page in the Pages palette that you want to move to. This centers the page within the document window.
or
Double-click the name of the spread to fit both pages in the document window.
Tip

You can also scroll or use the Hand tool to move through the document.
InDesign also lets you move from one page to another using the page controls at the bottom of the document window.
To use the window page controls:
• Click the window page controls (Figure 4) to navigate through the document.
or
Enter a number in the Page field to move to a specific page.
The window page controls let you navigate through the document.
Tip

You can also navigate through the document by choosing the commands in the Layout menu.
To duplicate pages:

Select the page or spreads you want to duplicate.

Drag the pages onto the New Page icon.
or
Choose Duplicate Spread from the Pages palette submenu. This duplicates both single pages as well as spreads.
