To delete pages:

Use the Pages palette to select the pages.
Tip
-
Hold the Shift key to select contiguous pages. Hold the Command/Ctrl key to select noncontiguous pages.

Choose Delete Pages from the Pages palette submenu.

When the confirmation dialog box appears, click OK to confirm your choice.
or
Drag the selected pages to the Delete Page icon at the bottom of the Pages palette.
Tip

Hold the Option/Alt key to bypass the confirmation dialog box.
When you drag a page next to another, you have a choice as to how the pages
are rearranged. With shuffling turned on, when the new page moves into position
it forces other pages to the next spread (Figure
5). With shuffling turned off, when the new page is inserted into the
spread the other pages do not move from the spread (Figure
6).
When Allow Shuffling is turned on, a page moved between two other pages forces one of the pages to the next spread.
When Allow Shuffling is turned off, a page moved between other pages is inserted between the pages, without moving the original pages.

To insert pages as part of a spread: |

Open the Pages palette submenu.

If Allow Shuffling has a checkmark next to it, choose the command. This turns off shuffling.

Drag a page next to or between the pages of a spread. The new page is inserted as part of the spread.
