Custom Tools Panels
You can now create custom tools panels. This is a great way to be able to more easily access the tools you use most often, for example (see Figure 11). A custom tools panel can be closed and opened, regardless of which document is open, as well as docked and saved in a workspace.
Figure 11 Custom tools panel
In order to create a custom tools panel, you can choose Window > Tools > New Custom Tools Panel. After naming the panel, it is opened as a free-floating panel (see Figure 12).
Figure 12 Creating a custom tools panel
Simply drag a tool from the main Tools panel onto the plus (+) of the custom tools panel to add it (see Figure 13).
Figure 13 Add tools to a custom tools panel
In each of the custom tools panels you create, you can drag the tools to reorder them or simply drag a tool away from the custom tools panel to remove it. If you want to later open a custom tools panel, you can choose Window > Tools > and choose the name of the custom tools panel.
