Don't Forget Staging
When a character is posed, the pose must still be presented to the audience. You must always remember that your 3D animated creation is almost always going to be shown on a 2D screen. The screen is your stage, with the audience viewing everything through the camera. As such, your characters must present their actions clearly to the camera so that the audience can read and understand them well.
