Edit Hypertext Links in Acrobat 5
If destination information changes after you convert FrameMaker documents to Acrobat PDF, you can always edit the links in Acrobat with the new information. You'll need the full version of Adobe Acrobat 5. Here's an example of how to edit an existing URL link in Acrobat:
Open the PDF file that contains the link you want to edit.
Select the Link tool from Acrobat's button bar.
The hypertext links appear with surrounding boxes.
Click one time on the indicated link box to select it.
Select Edit, Properties.
Windows users can right-click to select Properties from the floating menu. The Link Properties window appears.
Click Edit URL. Type the new URL information in the URL text field, or use the pull-down list to select previously included URLs.
When you have finished, click OK, and click Set Link.
To test the new URL link location, select the Hand tool from Acrobat's button bar, and click the hypertext link.
NOTE
If you are unsure of the commands represented by Acrobat menu buttons, hover the mouse cursor over a button to view its name.
