Trying Out the Drawing Tools
To warm up for sketching, let's choose a color and try out the drawing tools. Adobe Photoshop Sketch features a selection of sketching tools, including pencils, pens, markers, brushes, watercolor, and an eraser.
Choose a new color. Click a drawing tool to open its settings. Click the circular Color icon to open the Color wheel, and choose a color, as shown in Figure 4. For my practice marks with the pencil, I chose a rich brown. Sketch remembers the color that you select until you choose a new color; I used a different color for each mark. Have fun making expressive marks while trying out the drawing tools. You can see my sample strokes in Figure 5.
