Another way that I use layer sets is to group adjustment layers that create different versions of the same image (see Figure 10). Or, if I'm preparing the file to be output to different printing processes, I'll have layer sets that contain color-correction tweaks for each output scenario. You can also use them to prepare different treatments of an illustration within a single file. Then you can easily turn on or off complete comping versions without hunting through the layers palette to find the right combination of layers that create a certain effect.
