Duplicating a Layer Set
You can create a copy of an existing layer set by either choosing that option from the layers palette menu or right-clicking (PC) or Control-clicking (Mac) the layer set in the palette. In the Duplicate Layer Set dialog box, you can create the copy set within the original image, in another open image, or in a brand new document (see Figure 13). This is a particularly easy way to move layer sets from one image to another.

Layer sets are a great way to organize multi-image composites, different versions of an image, and printer-specific output adjustments. They are truly indispensable if you want to create a clear, easy-to-interpret Web design comp. Give them a try. If you use layers a lot, they'll soon become a welcome addition to your workflow.
