iCal Events
The iCal Events widget (see Figure 4) does what I think Apple's Calendar widget should have done: It lists events from iCal in the order in which they occur. This is a great way to keep tabs on your calendar without launching iCal.

You configure iCal Events on its back side. Use a pop-up menu to specify how many days of events should appear: 1 to 14. Then toggle check boxes to specify which calendars should be included.
