RabbitRadio
RabbitRadio is a simple widget that enables you to tune into NPR radio stations broadcasting over the web. Just open RabbitRadio (or open Dashboard with RabbitRadio already open) and it begins playing the radio right through your speakers. No need to use iTunes or special player software.
RabbitRadio comes preconfigured for popular NPR stations across the country (including my local station, KJZZ, as shown in Figure 7). All you do is flip over the widget, choose a region, and then choose a radio station. Click Done and it tunes in.

My only complaint—and it isn't the software's fault—is that I can't get a continuous broadcast. My cable modem connection to the Net just can't handle the data stream.
