Fixing Blemishes
Skin blemishes can be easily fixed using either the Healing Brush tool or, in Photoshop CS2, the new Spot Healing Brush tool. The Spot Healing Brush is a one-click fix—select it then click on a small blemish to remove it directly or, if you prefer, drag the tool over the area you want to fix. With the Spot Healing Brush, you don't need to select a source point of image data to use to repair the image as you do with the Healing Brush tool. Instead, the Spot Healing Brush uses data from around the area you're fixing to perform the fix.
If the Spot Healing Brush doesn't resolve the problem, use the Healing Brush tool. In this case you must Alt + Click on an area of the image to use as the source data and then drag it over the area you want to fix.
