Reuse a selection
When working with selections, you can save the selection you're working on by choosing SelectSave Selection and then adding the selection to the image by giving it a new name. Make sure that when you save your image it's in a format like .PSD, which saves both layer and channel data and ensures that the selection is saved with the image. Later on, when you want the same selection back again, choose SelectLoad Selection and then select the selection by name This saves you from having to make the selection from scratch each time.
