Payment and Account Management
All AdSense publishers gain access to the AdSense management console, a web application hosted by Google. Through this console, a publisher can see, in close to real time, how many ads have been displayed so far today, how many ads were clicked, and how much those clicks were worth. The console can be used to view this information for any time period since the publisher's acceptance into the program.
Earnings accumulate in the publisher's account on a monthly basis and are paid to the publisher approximately a month later, as long as the publisher has reached the minimum threshold of $100 in earnings. If the threshold is not reached, the earnings are added to the next month's earnings. Payment can be made by check or by electronic funds transfer.
The management console also lets publishers track more detailed information, such as page-specific earnings details. The console is also where publishers submit their tax information to Google, which is required by law to report the payments it makes to the U.S. federal government.
