Renaming a Layer
The layer name for the rectangle is Layer 1. As you add more layers to your document, it is helpful to give each layer a descriptive name.
- Double-click the name in the panel.
- In the Layer Name pop-up window, type Header and then press Enter (PC) or Return (Mac).
You can also click outside the Layer Name pop-up window to apply the name to the layer.
