Using the Control Palette for Text
As mentioned previously, the Control palette changes its settings depending on the type of object selected. For example, when a text object is selected, the Control palette displays a combination of the Character and Paragraph palette controls.
To use the Control palette for character settings:
- Use the Type tool to create an insertion point within a text frame. The Control palette displays the text options.
- Click the Character icon to display the character attribute settings .
To use the Control palette for paragraph settings:
