SAVING AND LOADING A SELECTION
It's always a good idea to save a selection, especially if you've spent a long time working on one and perfecting it. You may need to edit the image and use the selection again at a later date. To save a selection, choose Select > Save Selection, type in a name, and click OK. Keep in mind a selection can only be saved within a PSD file (Photoshop Document file).
The selection is saved within your Elements document and can be activated again by choosing Select > Load Selection, choosing it in the Source menu, and then clicking OK.
