place the CD fields
Now, we'll place fields and labels on the CD tab panel.
Use the Text Tool to delete the CD_ prefix from all the CD-related fields. In addition, change the field label for CD_Certificate to Certificate ID, CD_Amount to Invested Amount, CD_Rate to Interest Rate, and CD_Term to Term (months). Reduce the label widths as needed by dragging from the left to the right.
Set the CD_Institution and CD_Certificate fields to a width of 1.597".
Set the CD_Amount and CD_Rate fields to a width of 0.847".
Set the CD_Purchase Date, CD_Maturation Date, and CD_Term fields to a width of 1.014".
Click the CD tab on the tab control to make it active, and drag the fields and labels into the positions shown below. Check the field and label positions to ensure that they're properly aligned with one another.
Using the Text Tool, add a % symbol in Arial, 12 pt., bold immediately to the right of the CD_Rate field (as shown below).
