Pick a Theme, Any Theme
I was a little surprised when Emily chose the "Medieval" theme for her site. Nine-year-old girls usually go for something a little more cutesy, but she was set on the theme, so we went with it. My six-year-old, Erin, would probably prefer flowers and butterflies, and it might be nice to see some children’s themes included in future revisions. Most of the themes are more corporate-looking, with the exception of the Medieval theme, which might be another reason why it appealed to Emily. Selecting a theme is as simple as clicking on its preview, as shown in Figure 3.

If you don’t like any of the theme presets included with RapidWeaver, you have several choices. You can mix and match themes to create a variation on one or more themes, purchase a third-party theme, or build your own. RapidWeaver includes instructions in the help and online forums for theme building. You can take an existing RapidWeaver theme or create your own from scratch.
