Familiar Camera Raw Settings
I spent a lot of time getting to know Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) and what all of the settings mean. The last thing I wanted to do was try to learn an entirely new raw editing process. In Lightroom, Adobe has taken much of what you may be used to in Camera Raw and used it in Lightroom for raw editing in Develop mode (see Figure 8). If it was the same as Camera Raw, I would have been disappointed. Thankfully, it’s not, and there are enough new settings to keep you on your toes.
Figure 8 As you can see, many settings are similar between Lightroom and Camera Raw.
