Quitting and Hiding Final Cut Express
You quit Final Cut Express just as you would any OS X program—from the main menu or by using the keyboard shortcut. You can also hide the Final Cut Express interface if you want to work on your Desktop or in another program.
- To hide the interface, choose Final Cut Express > Hide Final Cut Express, or press Cmd-H.
The Final Cut Express interface disappears, and you see your Desktop and any other programs you may have open.
- Bring back the Final Cut Express interface by going to the Dock and clicking the Final Cut Express program icon once.
- If you are ready to quit the program, choose Final Cut Express > Quit Final Cut Express, or press Cmd-Q. Or you can continue on to the next lesson.
