Photo Albums
The Photo Album template is designed to create photo albums that include thumbnail images of each picture in the album (that display a larger version of the image when clicked) and offer visitors the option of watching a slide show of all the pictures in the album (there is a View Slideshow button included on the template). iWeb does most of this automatically. When you create a new Photo Album page, you’ll notice the usual stock image at the top of the page (along with some filler text) and an area below that containing three stock photos (see Figure 10).

The three stock photos are not placeholder photos like the photos on other pages (or at the top of the Photo Album page). They represent an area of the page where you drag and drop all the photos you want to be included in the album. When you drop even a single photo in this area, all the stock photos disappear. You can continue to drop as many photos as you want, and this area will expand to accommodate thumbnails of all of them. You can drag the photos around to rearrange the order in which they are displayed. You can also click the name displayed below the photo (which is copied from your iPhoto library) and type in a different name or description for the photo.
