Special Shapes
The iWeb toolbar includes a button labeled Shapes. When you select this button, it displays a pop-up menu of several different shapes. If you select one, you get a blank white item in that shape on your page. If you double-click the shape, it will turn into a text box. You can enter text in a shape, you can apply special effects to it, and you can layer them with other elements on a page. There are, however, three shapes that are different. These are the first three shapes in the menu, which are lines (with and without arrows at the ends). You cannot use lines for entering text, although you can apply effects to them and change their color. Shapes and lines allow you make an iWeb page more unique by using them as alternate style text boxes or by using them to simply add visual interest throughout the page.
