Encoding and Distributing
To encode your video, click the Encode button on the File tab (refer to Figure 5) or select Encode from the Encoding drop-down menu or the Encode icon from the toolbar.
After your video finishes encoding, it automatically begins to play within Flix Pro. You can also play your output file by clicking the Play button to the right of the Output box (refer to Figure 5). For playback outside of Flix Pro, FLV files must be loaded into the Flash player—they cannot be opened directly. To do this, you can use the media playback components in Macromedia Flash.
