Creating a Sequence Build to Reveal a Table
Keynote also offers flexible build options for other elements in your presentation. For example, using transitions on table cells can help enliven calculations.
By revealing the information in stages, you can guide the viewer through the data.
- Click slide 8 in the slide organizer to select it. This slide should contain a table.
- Click the slide’s title “Travel Budget.”
- In the Build Inspector, click Build In. Then choose the following options:
- Effect: 2D Effects > Move In
- Direction: Right to Left
- Duration: 1.50 s
- Select the table on the slide canvas.
- In the Build Inspector, click Build In. Then choose the following options:
- Effect: 2D Effects > Scale
- Direction: Down
- Delivery: By Row (This option reveals information one row at a time.)
- Duration: 1.00 s
- Save your work.
