Find Images
Images you use in your presentations can come from many possible sources: digital pictures you take yourself; scanned photographs or drawings; stock photography that you purchase online; or clip art. Some clip art comes with Microsoft Office. You can find it by choosing Insert > Picture > Clip Art. The Clip Art pane of the Task Pane opens (Windows). On the Mac, it opens the Clip Gallery.
You’ll add images to your slides in Chapter 6. For now, look through the available images in the clip art collections to find images that you may want to use.
If you’re not happy with the selection of clip art that comes with the program, there’s a lot more available for free at Microsoft Office Online, at http://office.Microsoft.com/clipart/.
If you find any images that you like among the vast collection on Microsoft Office Online, download them to your local machine for later use.
