Gapless Playback
iTunes 7 is the first iTunes version to support gapless playback, which applies to albums that don’t include breaks between songs (such as Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon). Typically, when playing such songs or albums, iTunes will either crossfade between songs or include a two-second gap (as albums that are not gapless will do). To override this traditional behavior and enable gapless playback for an album or a series of songs, select the appropriate songs in your iTunes library and use the Get Info command. In the information dialog box, select the Options tab and click Part Of a Gapless Album, as shown in Figure 2.
